You feel alone in your relationship. You want to reconnect but don't know how. Your ability to communicate with one another needs a tune up. You are in pain, stressed, and unsure what to think about the future of your relationship. Your inner voice is pushing you to focus on yourself as a means to work toward deeper connections with friends and partners. I work best with folx exploring gender, relationships, and sex therapy related topics (desire discrepancy, sexual function, loss of connection)

Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.
I enjoy working with clients on healing childhood trauma, processing and integrating past experiences, boundaries, communication, learning to trust yourself and honor your needs, quieting the inner critic, and finding ways to tap into joy and play again. I celebrate and honor the unique needs of individuals who experience or have been impacted by systemic inequity and oppression, especially 2SLGBTQIAA+ folx, the Black community, people with disabilities, and the neurodivergent community.

The one thing my clients have in common is kink. This is not to say that kink is what brings them to therapy! My clients come to me for the same reasons anyone enters therapy: anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, sexual concerns- because they know that I will never judge their BDSM dynamics or fetish interests as we do that work. A few come to me because they feel sexual shame or embarrassment around their fetish interests. I am here for anyone who needs an affirming space to be themselves
Using a person-centered, eclectic and cross-cultural perspective when working with clients, I understand each individual and each experience is unique. I provide a warm, non-judgmental, and safe space for clients to share their most innermost struggles. I am interested in empowering clients by helping them process their emotions, identify their strengths, and learn new healthy coping techniques to help them overcome their stressors and traumas.
Most of my clients wish they could have a life with more joy, more fulfillment, or more abundance. They want to feel greater satisfaction in their relationships, career, or sense of self…but oftentimes, they don’t know where to start. I typically work with people who are looking to develop greater self-acceptance, learn better coping skills, and develop healthier relationship dynamics in order to find a greater sense of satisfaction in life. If this sounds familiar, know that you’re not alone.
My clinical expertise is working with survivors of trauma, sex abuse, social injustice, and domestic violence. I also work with individuals, couples, and families on building healthy relationships, coping with loss, overcoming anxiety and depression, as well as issues specifically relating to the LGBTQ population.
