My work supports people in caring professions, neurodiverse humans and LGBTQIA+ and identity-exploring folx in times of transition. If you are someone who thinks about their experiences in a systemic, non-linear way, and wants to find a space that supports your process. Remember that the best therapist for you is one with whom you feel safe and understood.
My clients come from all races, sexual and faith orientations, occupations and genders. Our work together may include relationship issues, infidelity and affairs, anxiety, stress, depression, sex therapy, out of control sexual behavior and more. My approach to therapy is authentic, relational, and trust based. I am also a sex positive therapist who is both comfortable and competent in sex, sexual dysfunction, BDSM and kink.
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.
My clients are young adults between the ages of 18-35 facing transitions, relational disconnect, anxiety, stress, and trauma. They have a desire to grow holistically, and are open to exploring all dimensions of their humanity such as meaning, purpose, and spirituality. My clients may be seeking to work with me because they are pregnant and preparing for childbirth and postpartum, or they are seeking support through the difficult transition and transformation of motherhood.

I am experienced in helping clients with a variety of life challenges including anxiety, depression, ADHD, gender identity, trauma, grief, and anger management. I specialize in working with teens and young adults in the LGBTQIA community, neurodivergent individuals, health care workers, and veterans. In addition, I have training in veterinary social work, which includes working with veterinarians and animal rescue workers, as well as addressing issues surrounding pet loss and grief.
My clients come to me feeling stuck, overwhelmed or lost. Often, they feel like something is wrong with them because they struggle so much to figure out who they are and how to function and feel like they belong in the world and within their relationships. They struggle with anxiety, people-pleasing, and low self-esteem. Many also suffer from religious trauma/spiritual wounds that complicate their sense of self and trust in the world. I also provide clinical supervision to LCSWAs and LLMSWs.
My ideal client is someone who is open to change and ready to explore the path towards a new beginning. My client will learn adaptive coping skills to manage symptoms of anxiety, anger, depression, stress, appetite and sleep issues. They will also develop confidence and improve their ability to set healthier boundaries. By the end of therapy, my client will walk away feeling prepared to face life challenges with a healthier perspective and fortitude.
If you are tired of trying so hard, unsure of how to cope, or have a sense of being stuck in the same old destructive patterns, this is a space for you. I specialize in helping adults with anxiety, trauma, identity exploration, and obsessive-compulsive tendencies. I work with folks ready to look directly at themselves and transform their relationship to their pain. While I center and tailor most of my work with the queer and transgender community, I strive to create an affirmative space for all.
