Every relationship comes with its fair share of issues. Navigating the complexities of life together is hard enough, but when you start to feel regularly distressed or hopeless, about your relationship, it may be time to seek professional help. No matter what your issues seem to stem from (disagreements about money, sex, stress, chronic illness, mental illness, infidelity, trust, emotional distance, parenting etc.), if you and your partner are arguing more frequently and experiencing feelings of resentment or contempt, it is likely that there are some underlying problems to address. Because many problems in relationships are a result of communication issues, a qualified mental health therapist can teach you to find new ways of talking to each other to help you find your way back to common ground. I specialize in working with people who are struggling with any form of anxiety or depression, having trouble adjusting to big life changes, experiencing relationship conflicts or communication issues, and/or hoping to improve their self-esteem or sense of purpose. I work with individuals (preteens, teens, and adults) and with couples.
My work supports people in caring professions, neurodivergent humans and LGBTQIA+ and identity-exploring folx in times of transition. If you are someone who thinks about their experiences in a systemic, non-linear way, and wants to find a space that supports your process. Remember that the best therapist for you is one with whom you feel safe and understood.

I work with adult individuals, couples, and adult groups (think: adult child and parent, adult siblings, friends, etc). I do not work with teens or children. My typical clients are interested in working through issues, invested in their growth, and are open to exploring deeper issues of life and what it means to be them. I am strongly relational in my work with clients, providing feedback, insight, and guidance in a nonjudgmental way.
