The stories we tell ourselves are just as important as the stories we tell those around us. We all deserve the healing that comes with being able to express who we are in a way that feels true. There is a lot going on in the world, and I want therapy to be a supportive and safe place to explore the different parts of yourself and help navigate the experiences you are having. Together we are working towards building resiliency and hope.

Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

Most clients already know what their struggles are, whether that’s communication issues, difficulty connecting with and trusting others, people-pleasing, struggles coping with emotions and triggers, lack of boundaries, anxiety, inability to feel happy even when things are good - the list goes on! What they don’t know is WHY they struggle and WHAT TO DO to change it! And that’s where I step in. My goal as a therapist is to help you answer the question of: “So what do I DO about this now?"
“What do they think of me? Am I making the right decisions? Am I failing in life?” If these thoughts sound familiar to you, you are in the right place. Many of my clients tell me they are making it through their days, but their worry and stress make it almost impossible to just enjoy the moment and relax. They worry so much that it can keep them up at night and it is making things difficult in their relationships.
I specialize in helping LGBTQ+ folks become your favorite version of yourself. Are you a queer, trans, or nonbinary person who avoids conflict by appeasing others? Do you overdeliver in your professional and personal life to the point of exhaustion? Do you find yourself prioritizing the people in your life and putting off your own needs? I would love to connect with you. I can help you communicate your needs, set healthy boundaries, and increase self-esteem.
Are you a trauma survivor who feels constant stress and like you are a "trauma magnet" or that other people walk on eggshells around you? Are you an adopted person struggling with connecting (even to yourself!), being "the only", with loss, shame, and feel like things are out of your control? Whether you are struggling with unresolved trauma or your adoption experience, I look forward to helping you gain the skills you need to feel relief and move forward in your life they way that you want!
Are you looking for guidance while working through anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, and stress reduction? I strive to create a non-judgmental, culturally sensitive environment for healing. My goal is to build trusting relationships to meet you where you're at in your therapeutic journey. You can overcome the challenges you may be facing today and live a happier and more fulfilling life.

Do you feel like the important people in your life don't really know you? On the surface, things may seem to be going well, but deep down you’ve felt anxious and down for a long time. Work, relationships, and responsibilities keep piling up, and you don’t know how to keep going or who to turn to. Each day feels like a battle and you realize that something needs to change. If this sounds like you, I am here to help.
I see individuals, couples, and families and provide counseling for those who want help with sexual concerns, disordered eating, body image recovery, prenatal/postpartum issues, relationship strains, and problematic substance use. I want to understand what it is you hold most dear and find meaningful in your life and relationships. By doing this, I can help you identify and navigate how to align with your values, intentionally, through awareness of unhelpful patterns and incremental change.
We at CPGR enjoy supporting people from all walks of life. My special interests are addiction and recovery, religious trauma, nontraditional belief systems, gender identity, sex therapy, and self-esteem concerns. Reach out if you and a loved one are experiencing relationship distress, recurring conflict, or communication issues. Anyone can benefit from therapy at any time—it's not just for moments of crisis! While therapy can feel intimidating, engaging in self-reflection is one of the most empowering things we can do for ourselves and our relationships
You aren’t feeling yourself…maybe you haven’t in a long time. Responsibilities of daily life can be stressful, relationships challenging, life transitions happen when we least expect; and this is all HARD. Perhaps you have tried podcasts, self-help books, or even Tic Tok looking for advice. Lifes sh*t isn’t easy. There are things you can do in this very moment to begin healing. Reach out and connect with me…take this first step!
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I work best with relationships. I'm most passionate about working with intimate partnerships, no matter their status or structure. I have a special interest in working with non-normative relationships (non-monogamy, polyamory, kink/BDSM). On an individual level, I love working with sex (erotic energy, desire, etc.), sexual orientation, and gender (identity and expression). Pretty much anything that intersects with sexuality is my jam, normative or otherwise.
I believe in Dr. Stephen Shore’s quote, “If you’ve met one person with autism, you’ve met one person with autism.” If you are looking for growth or emotional healing and have an Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis (ASD), or share attributes with ASD, I would love to help! I practice mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy, ages 11 to 111. You can meet with me outdoors via walk and talk/outdoor seated therapy, or by traditional telehealth/in-office therapy.
