,I see adults for individual & couple therapy. If you’re experiencing challenges that are keeping you from living the life you truly want, let’s work together to shift your perspective & reconnect with a sense of joy & fulfillment.
Grief and loss are a part of the human condition. Grief is typically considered to be brought on by the death of a loved one, but can also be triggered by any significant life-altering loss (such as a divorce or the loss of a job). Grief is a natural response to loss, but that doesn’t make it easy to deal with. Symptoms of grief may include sadness, loneliness, anger, denial, depression and a myriad of other thoughts and feelings. There is no “normal” amount of time for grief to pass, but if you find that your grief is not improving over time or that it is interfering with your everyday life, you may want to consider seeking professional help. A qualified grief counselor can help you to cope with the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive responses to loss. Reach out to one of TherapyDen’s grief experts today.
If you're ready to create change in your life and to deepen your awareness of yourself, I am ready to support you. I desire to create a safe and supportive space for our work together. I work with people struggling with a variety of challenges. I have a special interest in helping people navigate anxiety and depressive disorders, trauma-related symptoms, life transitions, and those wanting the ability to better manage everyday stressors. I take a gentle yet direct approach with my patients.

Many that I work with are functioning and even successful in certain areas of their lives, but still have some difficulties. They want to address what is lingering, their desires or discomfort. People who are creatives, organizers, helpers, parents, outside of the box thinkers/ lifestyles, deep feelers/ thinkers, achievers, justice oriented tend to be many who come to work with me.
I work with clients seeking to heal from trauma, gain insight and comfortability within their identity, and seeking to increase comfortability and interconnection between mind and body experiences. I foster exploration through art-making and engagement with nature, encouraging clients to tell their own stories in new and profound ways in an art studio space or virtually.

As a Queer clinician, I am particularly interested in Queer flourishing, providing gender-affirming care and related identity concerns, though obviously I also work with people who are not queer-identified. It is a common human experience to feel "Othered." My background makes it easy to identify with anyone's experience of feeling like an outsider, however, that shows up for you.
18+ years experience providing psychotherapy to clients ages 13+ with a broad range of concerns. I work well with clients who seek support, guidance, and and encouragement necessary to create and maintain value based action each day (living with purpose). Clients tell me they are comforted and motivated by the empathetic, down-to-earth, and solution focused style I offer. I am passionate about creating a strong therapeutic alliance with all clients as the foundation for meaningful change.

I work with individuals navigating transitions throughout early, emerging, and mid-adulthood. My clients are often facing challenges with perfectionism, stress, avoidance, depressed mood, feelings of guilt, worry, shame, anxiety, grief/loss, maternal mental health, and navigating the world as a highly sensitive person. I work best with motivated clients who are ready to engage actively in the therapy process and work towards uncovering their most authentic and meaningful life.

Couples can get pulled into patterns like the gravitational pull of a black hole. The more they try to escape its grip, the more they find themselves sucked back into cycles that leave them hurting and alone. Similarly, individuals can feel trapped in negative paths of anger, anxiety, and self-doubt. But there is a way through. I use EFT to help clients discover their feelings, needs, and goals. As they do, they gain a new awareness of the negative pull that has held such power over their lives.
I specialize in working with folks navigating race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion, family stress and other aspects of identity, as well as the unique challenges that can arise from systemic inequalities and discrimination. My approach integrates evidence-based practices with empathy and respect. I honor the backgrounds and stories of each person I work with. The work we do together empowers you to explore your strengths, and recognize the impact of cultural and societal factors.

I work with clients (16+) who struggle with anxiety, insecurity, self-doubt, and difficulty in relationships. Other specialties include trauma and personal growth. Many of my clients are high-performing, highly responsible individuals who feel burdened by self-judgment, caretaking others, and struggle to move through their core emotions in order to access their personal power.

Deciding to seek therapy can stir up all kinds of emotions. Maybe it’s been a long time coming, perhaps the thing you used to do to get by isn’t working anymore, or maybe life recently threw you a difficult curve ball. Either way, it can feel isolating trying to figure it out alone. Friends and family can be helpful, though sometimes you just need a safe space of your own to regroup and a safe person to walk with you while you do the hard work.

The stories we tell ourselves are just as important as the stories we tell those around us. We all deserve the healing that comes with being able to express who we are in a way that feels true. There is a lot going on in the world, and I want therapy to be a supportive and safe place to explore the different parts of yourself and help navigate the experiences you are having. Together we are working towards building resiliency and hope.

Trauma isn’t always one big event. It can be chronic, subtle, or rooted in relationships. It might begin in childhood or build over time—especially when you’ve felt unseen, unsupported, or unsafe. Whether loud or quiet, trauma shapes how you see yourself and the world. If you're always bracing for the worst, overwhelmed by emotions—or numb to them—or stuck in painful relationship patterns, you may be carrying more than you realize.
