Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.
I enjoy working with various adult populations ( 18 +) and I am especially versed in providing therapy to those who are marginalized. Specially, I specialize in working ethnically diverse persons who may be struggling with cultural and racial stressors, LGBTQ+ persons, those struggling with anxiety or depression, relationship challenges, and couples counseling. I am also versed in providing support to professionals navigating life challenges, workplace burnout, and stress management.

I work with women who struggle with blended high/low self esteem. To the outside world, we are successful and have our shit together. Except we are masters at hiding pain. Inside, we have a black hole filled with guilt, shame, and feeling unworthy. We feel stress managing family, life, career, relationships, and don't feel good enough. We explore the beliefs and patterns that impact our daily life. The goal is to free ourselves from our past.
I help you live a life that feels better and more like you. I have 20+ years of experience as a psychologist. I'm a caring, active participant who helps you feel comfortable and supported - giving suggestions I work with those who overthink, people-pleasers, anxiety, depression, and stress. Those who struggle with sharing feelings/emotion, who want to communicate more effectively, and improve relationships. My couples/families work on communication, conflict, and connections.
