Too often we encounter stress and challenges in our lives that we struggle to meet and resolve in healthy and constructive ways. As a result, we can become isolated and lonely, panicked, and anxious by stress or circumstance that threaten to overwhelm us, or sometimes just “stuck” and unsatisfied. Perhaps our old ways of coping with life are no longer as helpful as they once were. We may feel unhappy with ourselves, where we are, and the things we do.

Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.
Our tribes are so important but sometimes those tribes aren’t affirming or safe. My ideal client is one who is looking for a safe space to explore some heavy challenges. Together we will work through the challenges to find healing and acceptance. We hold the power inside us to live authentically and be celebrated not feared. I love empowering BIPOC and queer Folx at any stage of their life. This is a shame free, affirming space, to be celebrate and elevated for your authenticity.

Maybe you are the parent of a teen or young adult who is struggling with anxiety or depression. Maybe they are going through a big transition in life and need support. You see them trying to face these challenges but don't know the best way to move forward. I can help. Or, perhaps you are facing the world of infertility/fertility treatments and need a space to process the thoughts and feelings that come with that. It can be a very lonely experience that few understand. I see clients in Ok and TX

Are you looking for something different to happen in your life? Maybe you are hoping to release something you have held onto, work through something you have been avoiding, or get out of a situation that has you feeling trapped. You have made efforts toward finding solutions, making changes, and you've done your best, yet something (or many things) have left you feeling dissatisfied, defeated, confused, and lonely. Despite what you feel, you aren't alone. Therapy can help.
Are you a nurturer who feels discouraged to the point of despair about the state of the world and the future? I can help. I work with women and helping professionals (teachers, medical providers, therapists, and faith leaders) on burnout prevention and recovery and on resilience building. Working with people as a nurturer or helper is particularly demanding, and our own trauma shows up in this work daily. Our own healing is an essential part of our capacity to do this work long-term.
