Your story is important. Whatever you've experienced, your story deserves to be heard. Dialectically, there is power in that story, and there are times when it can impact internal beliefs and how we experience life. I believe we are unique in our range and intensity of emotions. Sometimes emotions get big and make us act in ways we didn't intend to or know ourselves to be. Sometimes we were never taught the skills to cope, or we can't access skills in the moment.
