In my work with clients, I frequently encounter a version of "I thought I was doing ALL THE THINGS to be happy and yet, something still feels off." That something can manifest as anxiety, stress, depression, your relationship, or questioning EVERYTHING. My clients are the best. Usually, they are high-functioning professionals (think lawyers, physicians, leaders, engineers, scientists) and look completely fine on the outside, yet - suffer in silence.
I work with couples who avoid conflict and feel lonely in their partnership, and those who fight frequently and find conflict escalates quickly. I also work with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, have a hard time asking for their needs to be met and often don't understand their emotional reactions. Many experienced childhood trauma that has hurt their sense of self. Others come for support during life transitions or because they are grieving.
We understand the frustration of repeating your story over and over, trying to find the right fit. No one has time for that. As experienced clinicians, we know the best of the best to personally curate each and every clinician in our nationwide, private network. It’s time to stop sitting on waitlists and settling for less than what you deserve. When you're our client, you're taken care of. Period.
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.
My clients are as unique and varied as the world. But inside, they look a lot like you and me. Sometimes we can feel like life is just too much. We can feel anxious, depressed, stuck, overwhelmed, or just do not know what to do next. Sometimes we just need someone to walk beside us to help us find our way out of the darkness and back into the light. If that is you, I'd love to work together to customize an approach that works for your struggles and experiences that is as unique as you are.

I am passionate about using a cooperative and pragmatic yet affectionate approach to counseling. With over 7 years of experience, I provide support to individuals of various age groups including children, teenagers, adults, and families as they confront unique personal challenges. I have provided therapy for depression and anxiety and I particularly enjoy working with people through life changes/transitions.
My clients include youth and adults who are seeking relief from the residual hurt and confusion of traumatic experiences, navigating ways to safely be themselves in an oppressive world, or working to support those they love in doing the same. While I specialize in the treatment of trauma and in supporting those navigating systemic inequalities, I welcome all who want to increase their peace of mind, move forward in new ways, or connect with and nurture their most authentic self.
Do you get overwhelmed easily? Do you struggle to make decisions? Have others said that you're "overreacting"? Do you wonder how others handle day-to-day life without feeling overwhelmed? I hear you. I’m an HSP, too. I know how draining and overwhelming life can feel. Others may have judged us for being “too sensitive” or “too emotional.” Sometimes we even put that judgment on ourselves and start to believe that there is something wrong with us.
My clients often have experienced complex trauma. I enjoy working with folks who have experienced trauma because it is incredible to see the healing, change, and growth that occurs in therapy for my clients. I feel honored to be a part of that process in an open, non-judgmental way.
I am passionate about my work with teenagers, young adults, and older adults who are experiencing a wide range of difficulties. Most frequently, I work with clients struggling with anxiety and/or depression, as well as individuals yearning for change, managing life transitions, dealing with relationship challenges, or looking for coping skills to better handle stress. I also have experience working with clients processing trauma and moving towards safety and stabilization.

I love working with adolescents, young adults, and adults who are in periods of transition or adjustment. This could mean school, college, job, life, identity, or value adjustments. I strive to be inclusive, supportive, affirming, and curious about ideas, beliefs, and values. Most of my clients identify as queer and have complicated relationships with themselves, their families and personal histories, aspects of their identifies, and a deep desire for wholeness and authenticity.
Do you feel overwhelmed by stress, worry, or self-doubt? Being overwhelmed by a situation or an event can be a scary and anxious experience. As a counselor, it is my privilege to journey with you through the fears and uncertainty. Together, we can find ways to cope with the unpleasant emotions or unhelpful thoughts that can come with those experiences so you feel more at ease.
Whether you are coming to see me for individual therapy, couples counseling, family therapy, or group therapy, as a systems-oriented practitioner I take into account the world you inhabit. There is no “one size fits all” approach when it comes to therapy, and I collaborate with clients to tailor the direction of the work to fit their unique needs.
I am passionate about working with folks as they heal from past trauma and with those dealing with symptoms of anxiety, depression, and chronic stress. I have extensive experience working with survivors of sexual assault, and those who have experienced childhood trauma. Some other areas of focus include depression, life transitions, and women’s issues. I also love working with fellow therapists.

Everyone's deconstruction and healing is unique. Maybe you can confidently use words like trauma and abuse. Maybe you know you're feeling hurt but don't necessarily believe anyone harmed you. Maybe your view of what happened changes day to day. If you find yourself struggling with, "I don't even know who I am anymore," or, "I missed out on so much," or, "Why do I keep going back to old ways of thinking," you aren't alone.
Are you tired of feeling more anxious, stressed, and overwhelmed than you want to be? Life is tough enough. People may think you have it all together even though you feel like a mess inside. Other times you may feel paralyzed by relatively small decisions. I want to get to know who you are and share realistic and do-able techniques to foster your sense of resilience, balance, and well-being. To get a sense of my approach & personality, check out episode 98 of the podcast Raising Boys and Girls.
Many of us walk through life being triggered by certain events and people without a true understanding of why. My goal is to help you to gain insight into your underlying motivations and roadblocks so that you can restore connection and achieve the change you desire.
My particular areas of focus as an inclusive, culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed therapist intersect with people whose parents struggled with addiction, as well as those desiring to process religious trauma, women, couples, and anyone wanting to feel less anxious in their daily life.
Whether they are an individual or a couple - my clients all have unique needs. As a therapist, I strive to offer affirming, relational, culturally sensitive and client centered therapy to every one of them. I am honored to walk alongside you through the vulnerable and authentic therapeutic process as you learn, grow, and heal.
