I know what it's like to feel broken, like counseling just doesn't work for you. I felt frustrated with the experience of talk therapy, having some progress but digressing again. I specialize in working with clients who have experienced chronic disconnection in their lives, helping them understand what is actually going on in their brains and bodies when they are defensive, anxious, depressed, emotionally dysregulated, etc. Through understanding and "bottom-up" approaches we can get unstuck.

The techniques I utilize are from the foundations of Person Centered and Solution Focused Theory with some art therapy mixed in (if you are comfortable with experimenting with creative therapy). During our first session, we will discuss what goals you would like to accomplish during our time together. My philosophy of therapy is, I feel you are the authority in your life and therapy can be a catalyst to identify barriers.
