Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.
My practice is comprised of several providers that have openings at various times and whose info is included together below. We provide reception and sessions in both English and Spanish. In general, we provide safe, affirming care to youth and young adults ages 13+, LGBTQIA2+ folks and neurodivergent folks experiencing a variety of mental health needs.
If you find yourself slashing your tires or just getting a lot of flats in your personal life, it might be time to make some changes. And sometimes that requires some guidance, introspection and support that an authentic, warm and professional therapy space can offer. As a licensed psychologist I work with adults and those 55+, and tend to specialize Mood disorders, Life transitions, Acute Stressors, Grief and losses, Impact of Chronic Health Conditions, Caregiver Stress, among others.

I love working with mamas of newborns and small children who have trauma and complex trauma histories where current functioning is being inhibited by past negative experiences. Birth trauma and complex trauma in a mother's childhood resulting in anxiety, PTSD, depression and attachment issues are central in my client population. I also love to work with teens and adults with childhood trauma and recent trauma. I have a background and success in treating anxiety, OCD, PTSD and depression.
My clients have experienced trauma and grief that has lead to an inability to move forward in life, relationship issues, depression, anxiety and PTSD. They are questioning their faith and purpose in life. If you're feeling lost, hurt and emotionally overwhelmed and if you're looking to heal from the past so you can move forward into a brighter future, I'd love to come along side of you on your journey. Together we will formulate a plan that fits you and your unique needs.
