You’ve been staring at your to-do list for half an hour and still haven’t made a bit of progress. You’re not sure when everything became so complicated. Even the things you used to enjoy have turned into overwhelming obstacles. You see the people around you being productive, socializing, and making progress in their lives. Meanwhile, you feel stuck in place, like the world is passing you by.
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

I am passionate about working with couples, as well as adolescents and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, or feeling marginalized or undervalued. I am also especially interested in helping men who are struggling with issues around fatherhood.
During therapy I take a collaborative approach with my clients, working with them to explore their challenges and to grow from them. Over the years I have discovered that my clients value this collaborative approach and are motivated to engage actively in the therapeutic process. They might be struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, or navigating a life transition, but they are open to exploring these challenges with curiosity and a willingness to learn.
Perhaps you are experiencing intrusive, shameful thoughts and self-label as a “horrible person,” or is engaging in unwanted repetitive behaviors that take up too much of your time. Most of your energy may be directed towards avoiding certain situations due to the discomfort and distress they bring. All these can be overwhelming but don't give up. I have the tools you need to find relief.
Are you feeling the impulse to explore who you really are?
