Often in life we find ourselves feeling stuck and we're not quite sure why. Left unexamined, it is hard to tell from our own perspective what exactly is going on. Therapy is about being honest with ourselves and evaluating our lives in an effort to lessen suffering and build insight into our patterns. As a clinical social worker, I excel in creating a strong client-therapist relationship that allows for the vulnerability required for healing.

I work with individuals navigating transitions throughout early, emerging, and mid-adulthood. My clients are often facing challenges with perfectionism, stress, avoidance, depressed mood, feelings of guilt, worry, shame, anxiety, grief/loss, maternal mental health, and navigating the world as a highly sensitive person. I work best with motivated clients who are ready to engage actively in the therapy process and work towards uncovering their most authentic and meaningful life.
Couples can get pulled into patterns like the gravitational pull of a black hole. The more they try to escape its grip, the more they find themselves sucked back into cycles that leave them hurting and alone. Similarly, individuals can feel trapped in negative paths of anger, anxiety, and self-doubt. But there is a way through. I use EFT to help clients discover their feelings, needs, and goals. As they do, they gain a new awareness of the negative pull that has held such power over their lives.
My clients are often successful in their careers, motivated, and empathetic. They often suffer from low self-esteem or perfectionism and are often really hard on themselves and feel like an imposter. They seek validation and help creating goals and techniques to be their best selves. Issues that I often see include relationship issues, depression, generalized and social anxiety. I often serve those who identify as part of the LGBTQ community and engage in non-monogamous relationships.
Have you been feeling exhausted, let down, or anxious? Do you feel like people don't *get* you? Are you unsure if therapy could even help? Maybe you're exhausted by the never-ending thoughts in your head and conflict with others. I get it. This is my jam. I specialize in supporting people to understand why things are happening as they are and figuring out what to do differently so that they can feel better - and I know you can feel better too.
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or trying to make sense of things, I can provide a compassionate, accepting, and grounded space for your growth. We might explore meaning and purpose, navigating relationships, pursuing constructive solutions, and transitioning through life phases. We might work with anxiety, depression, or whatever life brings your way. In session, we engage with emotions, sensations, thoughts and beliefs, movement, behaviors, and archetypal imagery in various forms.
You’ve been holding it together—pushing through stress, overwhelm, and exhaustion. On the outside, you seem fine, but inside, anxiety and self-doubt never stop. You react to life instead of responding and want to break generational patterns. You don’t have to do this alone. I help individuals reclaim peace, confidence, and balance. Using a mind-body approach, we’ll go beyond talk therapy to create meaningful change, reconnect with calm, and build a lighter, more manageable path forward.
The clients I work best with are adults who are navigating symptoms of anxiety and/or trauma. I'm particularly passionate about working with the C-PTSD population and people erroneously diagnosed with BPD. My ideal client is willing to engage in collaborative and reciprocal conversation. They desire meaningful change, growth, and healing. They are open to both processing the past and preparing for the future, leaning on their strengths and learned tools.
My clients are motivated for positive change and put the work in to reap the fruits of their labor. My clients want to change their lives for the better - I am here to help guide them along their path. Reaching out to a therapist can be daunting, my hope is to ease that process through a non-judgmental free 20-minute consultation over the phone or zoom. These are free and are in no way binding! I love meeting new people and being invited into their journeys. I look forward to hearing from you

I am inclusive and welcoming to all genders, races, sexual orientations, all body sizes, religions, and abilities.

You are ready to engage in the work of growth, healing, and returning to self. This could be little by little or that may be some big, heavy stuff. You may be ready to trust that the wisdom of your body will guide the healing. This may focus on parenting or affirming neurodivergency. This may be related to religious trauma. Maybe diet culture. You may be exploring the realities of white body supremacy and that of other oppressive systems while seeking to access more joy and liberation.
I see life as a mosaic of experiences, and we all do the best we can with what we know at the time. But sometimes, anxiety, depression or the simple challenges of daily life can hold people back from living the fullest, best story of their life. My goal as a therapist is to explore and bring to light a person’s inner strengths, so they can overcome their personal obstacles and enjoy better, more productive lives and relationships.
Do you feel like the important people in your life don't really know you? On the surface, things may seem to be going well, but deep down you’ve felt anxious and down for a long time. Work, relationships, and responsibilities keep piling up, and you don’t know how to keep going or who to turn to. Each day feels like a battle and you realize that something needs to change. If this sounds like you, I am here to help.
I believe in Dr. Stephen Shore’s quote, “If you’ve met one person with autism, you’ve met one person with autism.” If you are looking for growth or emotional healing and have an Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis (ASD), or share attributes with ASD, I would love to help! I practice mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy, ages 11 to 111. You can meet with me outdoors via walk and talk/outdoor seated therapy, or by traditional telehealth/in-office therapy.
Do you ever feel like things never slow down? You’re trying to juggle so much - family, career, relationships; yet feel like there just aren't enough hours in the day. Life can be so hard, especially when we carry traumatic memories, cultural and generational burdens, and chronic stress. I can support you through life's challenges, provide a safe space to grow and heal, and tools to help you make a change that is meaningful.

Is anxiety, self-doubt, or painful memories keeping you awake at night? Are you having trouble focusing on important tasks during the day because you are constantly worrying about things? Anxious thoughts can be like bullies pushing you around, preventing you from being present and enjoying life. Often the clients I work with feel overwhelmed by stress, worries, and the daily pressures of life and want to feel less consumed by these things, and feel more present and engaged in their lives.
Clients often come to me wanting support in managing the overwhelm in their lives. We live in such a fast-paced, over-stimulating and often judgmental world, and I provide a safe haven for clients to explore who they truly are. This enables them to make day to day choices that help them show up as themselves in their lives, and take control of their futures. I especially work well with clients with anxiety disorders, borderline personality and depression.
