I work with individuals navigating transitions throughout early, emerging, and mid-adulthood. My clients are often facing challenges with perfectionism, stress, avoidance, depressed mood, feelings of guilt, worry, shame, anxiety, grief/loss, maternal mental health, and navigating the world as a highly sensitive person. I work best with motivated clients who are ready to engage actively in the therapy process and work towards uncovering their most authentic and meaningful life.
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

The clients I work best with are adults who are navigating symptoms of anxiety and/or trauma. I'm particularly passionate about working with the C-PTSD population and people erroneously diagnosed with BPD. My ideal client is willing to engage in collaborative and reciprocal conversation. They desire meaningful change, growth, and healing. They are open to both processing the past and preparing for the future, leaning on their strengths and learned tools.
If you are looking for direct, no-nonsense style we are probably a good fit. I work with people experiencing anxiety, sleep problems, men's issues, relationship problems, and/or sexual concerns. My work is solution-focused, leaning more into present day concerns than early life experiences. If you are seeking therapy because you recognize a need for change, and are looking to implement a plan to make that change happen, I may be able to help.
