Every relationship comes with its fair share of issues. Navigating the complexities of life together is hard enough, but when you start to feel regularly distressed or hopeless, about your relationship, it may be time to seek professional help. No matter what your issues seem to stem from (disagreements about money, sex, stress, chronic illness, mental illness, infidelity, trust, emotional distance, parenting etc.), if you and your partner are arguing more frequently and experiencing feelings of resentment or contempt, it is likely that there are some underlying problems to address. Because many problems in relationships are a result of communication issues, a qualified mental health therapist can teach you to find new ways of talking to each other to help you find your way back to common ground. The more I am in this field the more I realize that I am very passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community, which I also belong to. I particularly enjoy working with trans folx and helping them navigate the process of coming out or just the day to day stress of the society we currently live in. I love working with people who are new to therapy just as much as working with those who are familiar with it.

Whether you’ve been in therapy before or it’s your first time, taking the steps to get started is the hardest part. Daily life can be challenging and stressful. Managing daily responsibilities, work, significant others/family/friends; on top of stress of anxiety, that sometimes comes out of no where, depression and/or relationship issues can feel impossible. Learning to balance it all seems out of reach, but it doesn't have to. I look forward to helping you take your life back.

I serve teenagers 16+ and adults in individual, couples, and family therapy. Whether you are experiencing specific symptoms, a more general sense of malaise, or a lack of meaningfulness, I will use a collaborative approach to help you reach your goals and feel more content and happy. I firmly believe the results of therapy should be meaningful, powerful, and measurable. Therapy can be life-changing, and I would look forward to working with you.

I work with adult individuals, couples, and adult groups (think: adult child and parent, adult siblings, friends, etc). I do not work with teens or children. My typical clients are interested in working through issues, invested in their growth, and are open to exploring deeper issues of life and what it means to be them. I am strongly relational in my work with clients, providing feedback, insight, and guidance in a nonjudgmental way.
