Sometimes we have faced issues like depression, anxiety, or difficult and unfulfilling relationships our whole lives, other times problems seem to come out of nowhere and knock us right off our feet. One thing I do know, is that we should not go through hard things alone. I walk alongside my patients as they navigate the difficult healing from trauma, learning who they are in this world, or find meaning in the mess. I look forward to walking with you as you start taking back your life.
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

Is your internal dialogue filled with self-defeating stories? Stories such as "My anxiety is too severe to live a normal life" or "No one likes me, which is why I'm so depressed." Perhaps you think, "my partner no longer loves or cares about me, and it's all my fault." It's easy to believe that your life will never improve. But have you considered whether these are facts or merely the stories you tell yourself?
I work with clients 18 years of age and older, including individuals and couples. With a deep commitment to understanding and supporting my clients, I specialize in empowering individuals to navigate through life's challenges with resilience and strength. My practice focuses on the following areas: ADHD, OCD, women’s issues, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, adjustment struggles, grief and loss, trauma, and parenting challenges.
Being the victim of childhood trauma or narcissistic abuse can contribute to a wide range of physical, emotional, and psychological symptoms. It can make it difficult for you to trust others and maintain healthy relationships. Trauma and abuse of this nature becomes stored in the body, and may result in you feeling triggered, and suffering from mood swings, depression, and perhaps even feelings of guilt or shame. I specialize in EMDR therapy to help you heal from trauma and narcissistic abuse.
