About My Clients
I have gained knowledge and experience by working with clients for a variety of reasons; depression, anxiety, stress, family problems, trauma, abuse, PTSD, and relationship difficulties. I have helped people through difficult transitions like separation, divorce, or the loss of a loved one.
My Background and Approach
I use an eclectic approach to counselling which allows me to pull from different methods of treatment to ensure that each client’s experience is individualized to their specific needs. My style is relaxed, nonconfrontational, and strengths based. Everyone goes through challenging experiences from time to time. I have found in my work with clients that having someone to lend an outside perspective can be very valuable. It would be my privilege to work along side you on your journey to wellness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe wholeheartedly in treating all of my clients with respect and empathy. I strive to be an authentic person that listens without judgement and will do my best to give you a new perspective on any problems or issues that stand in your way on your journey to wellness. Additionally, I am a divorced mom of two adult children and I have been through the therapeutic process myself, so I know how hard it can be to make this first step.
