Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.
I have experience working with both male and female clients over the age of 13 doing individual, couples and family therapy. I have love to help people find healing with issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, post-partum issues, parenting struggles, attachment issues, grief and emotional struggles.

You are constantly searching for your identity but have no idea where to start or how to get there. Setting boundaries feels impossible, making decisions is a chore, and you're just left with resentment and exhaustion. It impacts your self-esteem and worth on a deep level and you are ready for change. You want a life where you know who you are outside of the influence of anyone else; where you are able to set healthy boundaries and make confident decisions that come from within.
I meet my clients where they are at-taking into consideration their unique history and circumstances. I have a special interest in working with women and individuals in the LGTBQIA community. I am progressive and here to offer a safe, non-judgmental space of support. I especially enjoy working with people around times of transition/change, anxiety, stress, depression/mood disorders, thought disorders, addiction and hoarding tendencies.
I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional that is specialized in working with First Responders, Law Enforcement, Corrections, and Military/Veterans and their family members. Although I specialize in this population, I can see clients who do not identify trauma as a presenting issue and are not in this specific line of work! Most of my experience has been working with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, phase of life changes, and communications.
Do you sometimes wonder if what you're feeling is normal? Do you wonder why you are so forgetful, why it's so hard to concentrate, or why you easily get distracted? Or maybe it's hard to get out of bed in the morning, you lack the motivation to participate in life anymore, and you can sometimes be tearful for no reason? I provide compassion in a non-judgmental space and I look forward to working with you and to teach you tools to take your life back.
