Grief and loss are a part of the human condition. Grief is typically considered to be brought on by the death of a loved one, but can also be triggered by any significant life-altering loss (such as a divorce or the loss of a job). Grief is a natural response to loss, but that doesn’t make it easy to deal with. Symptoms of grief may include sadness, loneliness, anger, denial, depression and a myriad of other thoughts and feelings. There is no “normal” amount of time for grief to pass, but if you find that your grief is not improving over time or that it is interfering with your everyday life, you may want to consider seeking professional help. A qualified grief counselor can help you to cope with the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive responses to loss. Reach out to one of TherapyDen’s grief experts today.

My patients are quite often those who feel 'stuck' in specific patterns or routines that feel endless and challenging to overcome. Some also are specifically seeking a psychoanalytic approach, and want a traditional Lacanian or Freudian frame in facilitating this approach. Patients who wish to examine the subjective structures that determine one's experience of the world in order to gain a stronger sense of agency in pursuit of their desire.

Being a human is not easy. We search for meaning, purpose, all while the world spins a web of uncertainty-making it difficult to feel safe- leaving us feeling anxious, hopeless, and confused. My goal as a therapist has always been to support my clients, both teenagers and adults, in looking at their lives, and their experiences, and encouraging them to find their meaning and purpose in all of the noise.

Anxiety is not who you are, it’s what you’re feeling - and we can change that. I specialize in helping people struggling with anxiety shed old patterns of overthinking, self-criticism, and self-doubt. Clients tell me that after our work they leave feeling confident, grounded, and calm. I also provide crucial space for therapists/trainees looking for a place to take off their "therapist hat" and settle in for that long journey into themselves.
Online Therapy
I am honored and privileged to join my clients on their journeys. A successful therapy experience is two-sided: a high level of motivation and commitment on your part, along with my experience, expertise and support. My clients tend to be ready and willing to take deep dives inward to explore themselves. Examining perspectives can lead to deeper understanding and thus allow you to make the shifts you desire. My relationship work often does not need to be long-term. Offering virtual in VT, PA
