Feeling a certain level of anxiety over big stressors or certain life events is totally normal. However, if you find that your fear or worry does not go away and, in fact, gets worse over time, you may be suffering from an anxiety disorder. Mild anxiety is vague and unsettling and often passes quickly, while severe anxiety can seriously affect your day-to-day life. If you are finding your anxiety unmanageable, can’t identify the cause of your anxious feelings or if you are suffering from physical symptoms (such as heart palpations, fatigue, sweaty hands, upset stomach, or insomnia), it may be time to get help. Reach out to one of TherapyDen’s anxiety specialists today.
I blend a variety of therapeutic techniques—EMDR, CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy—with a touch of humor— to create a dynamic, personalized approach to healing. Therapy is not a "one size fits all" solution, so collaborating with my clients to find what tools and strategies work best for each person is important to me. At the end of the day, you are the master of your own experience!

I have worked with people with co-occurring diagnoses for over 4 years, primarily working with individuals with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, bipolar disorders, depression, trauma, schizophrenia, and substance use. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults—both individually and in couples and family settings—helping them navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, relationship issues, and family dynamics. Informed by my multicultural background as a Pakistani woman, I’m also deeply passionate about supporting South Asian communities and addressing the unique cultural and identity concerns faced by immigrant groups.

My ideal clients are adolescents, adults, families, and groups that are having difficulty managing complex emotions within their life. I work with people from all backgrounds, but I want to focus my practice on serving People of Color as I feel there is a lack of mental health spaces where they can feel seen and heard.

Maybe you’re seeking relief from distress but also want deeper insight into yourself and lasting change, not just a temporary fix.
