Most couples begin therapy with me because they feel stuck in unhelpful patterns of communicating, they struggle to feel understood or supported in their relationship, and they want to navigate conflict and challenging emotions with greater ease. I support queer, gender expansive, kinky, and polyamorous and non-monogamous couples. I also specialize in working with stepparents and parents who are navigating a non-nuclear family structure.

I work with adult clients ages 18-65, and I am accepting new patients. Please call my office at 413-341-5081 to speak with my assistant, or visit my website to learn more about my practice. If you click on the email button below, it will bring you to my profile that has a link to my website. I do not have the "email" option activated on purpose because my assistant manages all new patient questions, and she prefers not to use email. I look forward to meeting you.
While my clients do not fit any particular mold, I often work with millennials and younger adults, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and people in non-traditional or creative careers. We might focus on your self-image, your relationships with others, or behavioral patterns you're hoping to change. Sometimes clients aren't sure where to begin, and that's okay, too. Together, we can "play detective" to help you better understand yourself and move toward greater self-actualization.

I have worked with clients experiencing a range of issues but I specialize in mood disorders, parenting and family issues and perinatal mood disorders. My clients are typically individuals and teens who are looking tools to decrease emotional suffering and help them lead a more fulfilled and functional life.
I believe everything happens for a reason and we all have a purpose and sometimes its hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Often times, we are stuck in old habits of thinking, feeling and communicating. As a therapist, my goal is to assist you through the change process while providing a non-judgmental, safe space for clients to explore their feelings, hopes and fears. Keeping therapy both interactive and collaborative we embark together on this journey.
My clients seek a highly skilled and trained elite expert in this, and are willing to self pay to get that expertise. I help those with sexual misbehaviors change thinking and create better outcomes. 27 years of specialist experience and training have me bring high level insights and skills that non specialists do not have, all to help clients to create lasting change, faster improvements towards self management of this disorder, an improved mood, reduced risk. www.sexuallycompulsive.com

My clients and I work together to navigate through mental health challenges and transitions in life. I specialize in working with people with gender dysphoria and those in the process of transition. Furthermore, I help my clients navigate issues related to racial identity and minority experiences. I work with various relationship types and forms, non-monogamy included.
I've worked with people from many walks of life. I have worked with and welcome artists, creative thinkers, those on the autism spectrum, LGBTQIA+ folks, as well as those who practice polyamory. I enjoy working with those who struggle to live as their authentic selves, helping to find the path to living your truth. Without authenticity, we can struggle fitting into boxes and shapes that just don't fit. Can I help you be more you?
Whether you’ve been in therapy before or it’s your first time, taking the steps to get started is the hardest part. Daily life can be challenging and stressful. Managing daily responsibilities, work, significant others/family/friends; on top of stress of anxiety, that sometimes comes out of no where, depression and/or relationship issues can feel impossible. Learning to balance it all seems out of reach, but it doesn't have to. I look forward to helping you take your life back.
Life can feel confusing and overwhelming. Do you respond by trying to be "perfect," by imagining every possible disaster and planning an escape for each? Or perhaps you get paralyzed with anxiety, unable to take any action, mind racing? That persistent feeling of "not good enough" can lead to depression, anxiety, or generally feeling like the life has been sucked out of you. Reaching out for help is hard -- I'm glad you're here and thinking about it.

I promise to work as hard as I make you work. I use CBT, DBT, holistic, person-centered, and solution-focused therapies with adolescents, adults, families, and couples to provide the opportunities for healing, growth and change. My work focuses on supporting those who experience challenges with depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, relationship issues, family systems, child and adolescent issues and self-care.
In my practice, I work primarily with adolescents and adults (ages 15 & up) who are going through significant life changes. Many of my clients are members of LGBTQ and activist communities. I specialize in working with Transgender and Nonbinary people and those who are interested in exploring their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. I offer letters of support for those who are seeking gender-affirming medical care. Many of my clients live with chronic health or mobility issues.
If you find yourself struggling with difficult relationships, rollercoaster emotions, sense of self/identity, practicing self-love, or learning how to feel comfortable in your own body after trauma, I encourage you to reach out. My team helps people learn how to be present and learn skills to handle the curveballs that life throws. Our clients are often individuals who have experienced trauma (physical, emotional, sexual, spiritual, racial, neglect).
