We at Barefoot and Balanced honor diversity, authenticity, compassion, and agency. We seek to meet clients where they are and to provide a safe and comfortable space to explore whatever challenges they may be facing. We are a group of trauma informed, sex positive, and gender inclusive therapists who offer positive, uplifting care to individuals, couples, and adults, as well as gender expansive young people. Together we believe we can help clients create greater satisfaction in their lives.
I enjoy working with a variety of clients, from adolescents to adults. I frequently work with individuals in professional caregiving fields (such as educators, medical professionals and fellow mental health professionals) and enjoy providing support for those who support others.

Do you feel stuck - and want to get unstuck but are not sure of what steps to take? I am experienced in helping adults decrease the impact of stress, relationships, communication, depression, anxiety, and/or trauma. I also help people who are living with Tourette Syndrome and other neurodiverse conditions (as well as their families) as well as adults who have a family member who is living with chronic conditions such as mania and/or psychosis.
Maybe you noticed -- Nobody handed you a how-to manual how to do this thing called life? My approach to supporting others is to help bring your sacred individuality into view so we can both see the ways life sent you prepared to be happy and to make a difference. Then, usually in informal ways, we work to customize your how to live manual to build on these strengths.
I started my work as a therapist with children and adolescents. This has given me a strong foundation and ability to recognize where adults came from and how our development into adults can be impacted. My clients range in all ages and orientations. I enjoy working with diverse people and the issues they bring.
