Just like any other group, the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQ) community faces mental health issues and unique challenges. However, LGBTQ individuals are almost 3 times more likely than others to experience a mental health condition, such as depression or anxiety. Additionally, more than half of individuals who identify as transgender experience depression or anxiety. The LGBTQ community is also at a higher risk for suicide. Young people are even more at risk, as they may experience a lack of support at home and fear, hatred or prejudice in school. If you are a member of the LGBTQ community and are facing mental health challenges, you don’t have to suffer in silence. Reach out to one of TherapyDen’s LGBTQ experts and get help today.

I work with individuals 14+ who may need a little assistance sometimes. I believe we all come into this world on a blank canvas. Through our experiences, layers form which some can be messy and confusing. I am here to guide you through those layers one step at a time. I work with individuals experiencing life transitions, grief/loss, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, self esteem issues, self-harm/SI, and other issues that may be preventing them from living up to their potential.
I specialize in working with the LGBTQIA community, teens & young adults, and creative people looking to find deep inner healing. My areas of focus include: sexuality and gender, identity exploration, relationship issues, self-esteem & body image, life transitions, and alternative relationships. I also have background in exploring trauma, grief and loss, family conflict, and exploring career goals or college transition.

Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

I companion individuals and those in partnered relationships from various backgrounds. The biggest thing these folks have in common is that they all are courageously working towards realignment with themselves. I companion clients navigating life transitions, trauma, relational distress, gender and sexuality exploration, sexual concerns, and neurodivergence.
Online Therapy
I view the key to healing as honesty with one’s self, and I offer a collaborative and transparent approach to help clients reach a place of stability. I cater my treatment to each client, and often pull from psychodynamic, mindfulness and behavioral theories. My approach is a combination of guiding clients to better understand themselves, and providing tools to help weather emotional storms.
Online Therapy
I work with clients struggling with depression, trauma, or anxiety related to their chronic pain, including pelvic and sexual pain. Our initial sessions will dive deeply into your experiences so we can work on a plan together. I will help you learn to navigate self-advocacy in healthcare settings, reduce your symptoms, and help you feel in control of your life.
