Often my clients have been in traditional talk therapy but something still felt missing or unaddressed. They come to me looking to deepen their mental and emotional well being with something more. Most of my clients struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, people pleasing, and/or boundary setting. Nearly all of my clients have experienced something in their lives that's left them changed in some way such as unhealthy romantic relationships, chronic illness, or a traumatic childhood.

Relationships are hard. Dating and finding a healthy partner is hard, and maintaining that relationship is a lot of work. Throw in a job, maybe some kids and pets, and somehow time to get to the gym? Crazy hard. But when you have a relationship that is great, that really makes you a better version of yourself? Amazing. Nothing compares. And that's why I work with couples, because relationships are hard work, but having a great one is totally worth all the work.
I specialize in helping relatives heal from the pain of estrangement, providing a safe space for them to navigate complex emotions and rebuild connections. Additionally, I assist men dealing with depression, anxiety, and relationship issues, offering tailored strategies for emotional well-being and healthy relationships. I also support people working through significant life changes such as launching their children, navigating divorce, coping with loss, and adjusting to retirement.
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.
My clients are burnt out from seeking external validation, people pleasing and avoiding conflict. They question how they should feel or are overwhelmed when they do feel and have likely been told somewhere along the way that they are ‘too much’ or ‘too sensitive.’ They desire relief from uncertainty, anxiety and a sense of aloneness but the tools they have aren’t providing sustainable change.
I work individually with adults (18+) on concerns related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, school/career stress, interpersonal concerns, and adjusting to transitions/difficult situations. Additionally, I help people with concerns about executive functioning, masking/unmasking, emotional regulation, and social matters, as well as other unique/personalized concerns that matter to you. My clinic hours are Mon-Fri between 9am-2pm Central Time.

I work collaboratively with those who are deeply curious about themselves and motivated to make deep, lasting change. I work with people who have endured all kinds of traumas and a wide range of life challenges and transitions. I am skilled in supporting teens and adults in all life stages who value living the examined life. Clients who seek me out are tired of repeating the same, destructive patterns and are ready for something new to emerge for themselves and their relationships.
Sometimes you feel so down that things seem hopeless, and sometimes you’re so anxious you can’t even rest. You’ve already tried on your own to solve your problems, but insight alone isn’t shifting things. You speak to yourself unkindly, which doesn’t help. You want to have fewer ups and downs, or maybe you’re wanting to change a relationship that your friends say is toxic. At this point, you’re ready to try something new.
Do you feel overwhelmed by feelings or physical sensations in the body? Maybe you feel disconnected, stressed, anxious or ashamed? We’ll work together to understand and befriend your nervous system and build upon experiences of safety and connection to promote healing and emotional well-being. I help folks of all backgrounds find a sense of safety in their body after experiences of trauma, chronic pain, and body-based oppression (transphobia, anti-fat bias, ableism, racism, etc.).
Sometimes we just need space to show up as ourselves and have the support to explore some of life’s difficulties. I approach our relationship with an open and accepting mindset, understanding that your feeling of comfort and safety in the therapy room is essential to creating a trusting bond and healing atmosphere.
I work with couples and individuals of all sexual, gender, and racial orientations. I support clients in breaking old habits, defeating false perceptions, and developing new, positive ways of living. Therapy is individualized, but typically leads to becoming more authentic with others, and accessing and manifesting the power of one's true nature. In doing so, clients can skillfully access their potential, reconnect with their creativity, and navigate any challenges or transitions life presents.
