I approach our relationship with an open and accepting mindset, understanding that your feeling of comfort and safety in the therapy room is essential to creating a trusting bond and healing atmosphere.
My Background and Approach
We don’t have to have something “wrong” with us to come to therapy; instead, we can explore ways for you to live a more fulfilling and meaningful life. I take time to understand your unique experiences, identities, and life context. I work from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy perspective – commonly known as ACT. Within ACT, we spend time focusing on your values and developing purpose while helping you build skills and be heard and understood. Change is a process, and it takes practice; together we can do the work to help you manage life's unique challenges. I’d be honored to join you on your healing journey. My hope is we can expand your curiosity and empower you to move forward in a way that feels comfortable with a spirit of openness, awareness, and engagement with your life.
