About My Clients
We specialize in working with people who are wondering whether they have ADHD and those who have already been diagnosed. Our clients realize that attention problems are creating difficulties in their lives, presenting barriers to success at work or at school, and may even be straining their personal relationships. We can test to determine if you have ADHD in an evaluation. We also use cognitive-behavioral and skill-building approaches to help you overcome your challenges in coaching or therapy.
My Background and Approach
Dr. Meyers is a licensed clinical psychologist who is board certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology in both Clinical and Clinical Child/Adolescent Psychology. He has provided services since 1995, and has helped hundreds of clients with ADHD in a variety of settings. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brown University with honors and his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Michigan State University. Dr. Meyers is a fellow of numerous professional organizations, including the American Psychological Association and the American Academy of Clinical Psychology. He is also a professor of psychology at Roosevelt University in Chicago. He has appeared on ABC-7 Chicago Sunday Morning News, WBEZ Chicago Public Radio, WTTW Chicago Tonight and 101.1 FM Chicago, and has been quoted in articles in the New York Times, Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Parent magazine, Huffington Post, and the Chicago Reader.
