About My Clients
You're smart and capable, but feel consumed by stress and held back by anxiety. Part of you worries that you will be held back by your past forever, while another part of you believes that relief and a better life are possible. You don't have to go through this alone. I will support you in learning strategies to calm your nervous system, reduce negative self-talk, manage stress, and communicate your needs most effectively so that you can live a personally meaningful, values-based life.
My Background and Approach
I have a strength-based and client-centered approach, and I incorporate interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, attachment theory, and mindfulness when working with my clients. I am EMDR therapy trained and certified and specialize in complex trauma. EMDR Therapy is an evidence-based treatment for PTSD, and it’s very effective in treating anxiety, stress, trauma, and all types of distressing experiences.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Being a therapist has taught me how incredibly resilient the human spirit can be. We all have the capacity to heal when provided with the time, space, and a safe environment to be ourselves. I would be honored to walk with you on your healing journey.
