About My Clients
My clients typically express that they are feeling stuck or frustrated by current circumstances but often do not know how to make sustainable changes. These individuals are typically high-achieving who are doing the best they can to manage their difficulties. Yet, they could benefit from additional support. Whether you are dealing with obsessions, compulsions, general anxiety, social anxiety, phobias, depression, etc., I am here to help.
My Background and Approach
I provide a warm, compassionate, and affirming therapeutic space to help you feel comfortable and heard. My specialties are the treatment of OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder) and anxiety-related disorders. I utilize CBT as my primary evidence-based foundation to assist with the therapeutic process. I also use exposure and response prevention, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and more. I recognize that each individual has unique needs and I work with you to accurately assess your needs and co-create goals that are aligned with the life you want to live.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people know themselves best and that my role is to be a collaborator and supporter on their mental wellness journey. My hope is to help people to uncover their strengths while helping them to develop more tools to make steps towards living the life they want to live.
