While I work with a wide range of folks, I tend to be the person folks come to when other therapies haven't worked. Relational Somatic Psychotherapy is a deep and powerful therapeutic approach. It works at a very deep and primal level. We combine neuro-biologically informed treatment with mindfulness, movement, traditional talk therapy, drama therapy and more, all in the container of our relationship.

Are you struggling with anxiety? Do you feel exhausted and drained? Do you feel like you are ignoring or hiding parts of yourself in order to survive? There are times in our lives when we feel burnt out and have lost sight of our purpose. I believe these times are an open invitation for you to explore what is going on within you that is getting in the way of you being your most genuine, productive and effective self. I am here to help.
I love working with Queer and Trans folks who feel things deeply and intuitively, and who feel a calling to bring their gifts and offerings into this world! I find that these gifts of empathy, sensitivity, and intuition also have shadow sides that can rob us of their joy. These shadow sides can lead to burn out, depletion, repeated relationships and situations that are unhealthy, being used or taken advantage of, or often even trauma and abuse (past or present).
You find yourself wondering how it is possible to be in a relationship and feel so alone. No matter how hard you try to connect with your partner, the two of you just seem to keep missing each other. You miss the fun the two of you used to have, you miss the times when the two of you used to talk so easily. Working with a trained couples therapist can help you to get back on track with your relationship. It is possible to heal, grow and have fulfilling relationships.
Have you previously undergone therapy, but didn’t get the results you wanted? Are you a pragmatic person who values an approach that establishes well-defined objectives and delivers tangible outcomes? Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy is a potent form of therapy that empowers you the client to directly transform emotions and behaviors. The greatest advantage of IFS therapy is its establishment of clear, measurable goals right from the start. Which allows you to observe the progress you make.
There are many reasons eating disorders are invited into your life. Just as there are many reasons why a person develops an eating disorder, the way you recover will be just as unique. If there was a one size fits all solution, that would perhaps be as deceptive as the problem itself. Whether it’s perfectionism, judgment, loneliness, self-improvement, health, fear, family issues… Together we will discover what invites these problems into your life, and begin to find what recovery means for you.

I seem to be an especially good fit for people who identify as sensitive/emotional, self-critical, creative, rebellious, different, or insightful. My areas of experience and focus are: depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief/loss, non-traditional relationships, sexuality, identity and self-esteem.
Therapy improves relationships. The individuals I work with are often tired of repeating the same patterns again and again, whether it's dating abuse, codependency, or chronic relationship conflict, anxiety, avoidance or indecision. They're ready to get to the root causes and finally make real change. Of course, all relationships start with and reflect your relationship to yourself. If you're dealing with a harsh inner critic or low self-worth, this internal relationship needs attention first.
Are you feeling stuck in your relationships? Do you long for a healthy relationship? Are you in a relationship with someone you really care about but feel terrified it won't work out? Have you been told you are too needy or codependent? These are just some of the common experiences women can have when it comes to love. Together, I can help you feel more confident, empowered and at ease in your relationships.
BIPOC, immigrants and people from different diasporas, women, artists, students, activists, healers, and parents seek me for support with prolonged stress and its impact on their relationships, health and life's purpose. They want a space where the intersections of their identities are held and their stories honored. I have experience supporting folks with the experiences of trauma, anxiety, stress, burnout, acculturation, how oppression shows in the body, depression, and creative blocks.
I work with couples who avoid conflict and feel lonely in their partnership, and those who fight frequently and find conflict escalates quickly. I also work with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, have a hard time asking for their needs to be met and often don't understand their emotional reactions. Many experienced childhood trauma that has hurt their sense of self. Others come for support during life transitions or because they are grieving.

Sexuality & pleasure are stigmatized, this plays into how we feel about ourselves, our bodies. I specialize in sex, intimacy and relationship issues specifically undoing harmful stories which no longer work for us, which hold us back, harm us. I work to re-educate, and then to empower. I work with clients to signifcantly reduce distress and undo longer standing concerns. Find your truth and build on that!
My lively and lovely clients come to me when their ways of getting through life are no longer working so well. They're ready to make a change, and ready to lean on some support to make it happen. They want to find a sense of joy, purpose, and contentment, and are willing to work for it!
Life in the Bay Area is challenging and the additional stress associated with being LGBTQ+, a woman, pregnancy, parenting or all of the above can push it over the edge. High levels of stress can interfere with relationships, parenting, work, self-care and health. Therapy can support you in cultivating a sense of well-being and balance in your life as well as help you overcome specific mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma and addictive behaviors.

I tend to work well with busy people, those who work in tech or other careers requiring an analytical mind, high achievers, who might get stuck in their thoughts, or push themselves too hard. Those who are trying to find meaning amidst the rat race. Those who want to take stuff from therapy and implement it pretty quickly. The issues that I best serve: relationship problems, anxiety, depression, trauma, work-life balance, stress, anger management, finding meaning, and family conflict.
I work with grieving adults, highly sensitive people, trauma, and those seeking insight into their behaviors and choices in life, who want to get to the root of the “why” and make changes from there. I also work with children and families using play therapy.
I help women who are successful in their careers but not in their relationships. Many of the women I work with have tried therapy before but found that it didn't offer the level of self knowledge and change they were seeking. Using a warm yet direct approach, I work collaboratively to understand and support my clients in their exploration and help them reach their goals. Members of the LGBTQQ++ communities and therapists seeking their own therapy are warmly welcomed.
