You are insightful and self aware, you know all of the “right” things to do and think, and yet you still struggle to truly feel good enough. Have you spent your life trying to achieve and move up the ladder and still feel anxious, panicky, or like something is missing? You might be a people pleaser and struggle to say no or to set healthy boundaries. Maybe you have a hard time showing all of yourself to loved ones and instead present only the parts of yourself that seem likable.
You’re looking for an approachable therapist who can help you build a better life for yourself. Someone who you can feel deeply seen by, who will celebrate your wins, walk beside you when life gets tough, and who can help you to find a better way to relate to yourself and the world around you. Whether you have been struggling with low self esteem, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or finding your path in life, I can help.

You might experience a relentless stream of thoughts telling you that you're not good enough. These thoughts make it hard to feel comfortable in your own skin. You second guess everything you say and analyze all of your interactions, looking for flaws. Maybe hard things have happened to you that continue to bother you, things that you haven't opened up about before that make it hard to enjoy your life, to feel connected with others, or to move towards your dreams.
At this time (due to COVID-19), my services are via Telehealth (video or phone session) only. I help clients identify and create a path out of their current circumstances and/or help them deal with any current stressor, change or challenge that has arisen in their life. I help clients find clarity, meaning and purpose through life's challenges. My strength is helping individuals learn skills and strategies to cope with the varied life stressors, changes, blindsides, challenges and losses.
You may be surprised by how common your fears, insecurities, & challenges are! Much of my work with clients centers around matters of self-esteem, self-love, people pleasing, codependence, unexpressed emotions, fear, & shame. While I specialize in sexual & relational trauma, sexuality, & financial stress/anxiety, I also see clients who are not actively grappling with these issues. No matter what brings you to therapy, I often find that we end up exploring many areas of your life & history.
I work primarily with those struggling with generalized anxiety, substance abuse, life transitions, and relationships. Additionally, I work with couples to build Effective Communication Skills for a more sustainable and expansive connection and bond, working to de-escalate conflict while building awareness around foundational principles to lean on for long term success.
