I have more than ten years of experience working with adolescents, young adults, adults, families, and couples. I most frequently help clients navigate the challenges of anxiety, depression, ADHD, giftedness, self-esteem and body image issues, relationships, grief, disordered eating, and trauma. I specialize in, and especially enjoy working with, ADHD, gifted adolescents and adults, and high school and college-aged clients.
My clients are usually artists, lawyers, and young professionals who struggle with depression, anxiety, and / or bipolar disorder. They are often burdened with high stress, burnout, or creative blocks and have tried to help themselves but don't see the deeper changes they sought, so they reach out to me. My hope is that our work together will untangle what you're feeling and help you feel more content.
I keep my practice open to a diverse range of clients, and to those who understand that the therapeutic relationship is the key to positive therapeutic outcomes. I have experience working with a diverse range of issues like childhood development issues, mood disorders, relational and social issues, everyday stress, grief, cognitive developmental issues, and even personality disorders. I have done a lot of work with school-aged boys and young men. Just to be clear I do work with other genders.
I support adults through times of life transitions. I offer multimodal strategies for adult clients struggling with career optimization, in many cases due to (undiagnosed) ADHD based performance issues. Clinical specialties include: adult ADHD and Executive Functioning Coaching, perfectionism and shame resilience, codependency, imposter syndrome, relationship issues, communication problems, low self-esteem, grief and loss, parent coaching, self-regulation, anger management, anxiety & depression.
