Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a classic talk therapy technique that helps increase awareness of negative thinking in order to better handle challenging situations. In addition to helping those with mental health disorders (such as anxiety or depression), CBT is also helpful for anyone who is looking to learn how to manage stressful situations. Therapists that use CBT often have a structured program, which involves a set number of sessions. CBT is frequently paired with other treatments, such as medication, when necessary. Think this approach may be right for you? Reach out to one of TherapyDen’s CBT experts today.

My clients prefer telehealth services. Whether they feel more comfortable accessing therapy from home or have difficulty attending "in person" sessions because of chronic and acute health issues, my schedule allows for weekly appointments with little to no wait time. I always keep my caseload small to accommodate my clients needs, so they feel like they can access support whenever they need it. My PsyPact APIT allows me to provide support whether you are at home, away at college, or traveling.

I enjoy working with adults who are seeking support in finding balance - be it in their identity, relationships, or other realms of life. Often, major transitions, depression, anxiety, and grief make this balance particularly difficult to achieve. As a career changer and mom of two, I relate well to the struggle of repeatedly rediscovering and redefining one’s identity. I am also skilled in helping folks struggling with acculturative stress, sense of belonging, and/or intergenerational conflict.
