Grief and loss are a part of the human condition. Grief is typically considered to be brought on by the death of a loved one, but can also be triggered by any significant life-altering loss (such as a divorce or the loss of a job). Grief is a natural response to loss, but that doesn’t make it easy to deal with. Symptoms of grief may include sadness, loneliness, anger, denial, depression and a myriad of other thoughts and feelings. There is no “normal” amount of time for grief to pass, but if you find that your grief is not improving over time or that it is interfering with your everyday life, you may want to consider seeking professional help. A qualified grief counselor can help you to cope with the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive responses to loss. Reach out to one of TherapyDen’s grief experts today.

I offer compassionate guidance to individuals and couples navigating narratives of self-doubt, perfectionism, and the challenges of overwork and overwhelm. Together, we can overcome rumination, anxiety, and harsh self-criticism. Embracing a mindset free from highlighting imperfections and fears is a transformative journey towards self-discovery. I focus on addressing shame, self-criticism, and trust concerns, tailored especially for those who identify as neurodivergent or anxiety-prone.
I work with adults and couples on all kinds of issues and frequently treat issues related to attachment, identity, and trauma (ie intergenerational trauma, racial trauma, ptsd, etc). I often work with clients who have symptoms of ADHD, anxiety, depression, or high stress. I enjoy working with fellow members of the queer community and have a passion for providing an affirming, inclusive space for historically marginalized groups including, but not limited to BIPOC, interracial couples, and women.

Perhaps you’re scared to get things wrong, and feel unable to trust yourself to know what you want, let alone how to get there. If you relate to this and want to feel less anxious and more at ease, I can help!
