Grief is typically considered to be brought on by the death of a loved one, but can also be triggered by any significant life-altering loss (such as a divorce or the loss of a job). Grief is a natural response to loss, but that doesn’t make it easy to deal with. Symptoms of grief may include sadness, loneliness, anger, denial, depression and a myriad of other thoughts and feelings. I will work to understand your unique story and to increase awareness, deepen understanding, and support progress towards your personal goals. I primarily work with young adults (17+), adults and elders from all cultural, racial and religious backgrounds. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and sex positive.

I focus on exploring emotions, resolving issues from the past, and increasing self-awareness. I provide evidenced-based, multiculturally competent counseling.
