I specialize in working with the “roadblocks” to wellness, typically resulting from experiences of traumatic stress. Those "stuck" emotions, thoughts, feelings, sensations are engrained in our system, prompting maladaptive responses that interfere with our day-to-day experiences and overall quality of life.
My Background and Approach
As an integrative, compassion-focused therapist, I believe true healing occurs when the whole person—body, mind, and emotions, are examined. Approaching each individual with a holistic perspective, I aim to work alongside each unique individual to offer hope, build resilience, and enhance physiological wellness. My relational approach integrates mindfulness, attunement, somatic experiencing, and the powerful modalities of EMDR, Attachment-focused therapy, TF-CBT, DBT, and other experiential trauma-informed models. We will delve into the roots of your wounds through a mind-body-spirit lens; one that speaks to the lasting impact of our bodies' storage of chronic mental, emotional, and generational trauma. Together, we will rebuild that mind-body connection through a sense of safety, connection, and trust to promote YOUR resiliency, leading to lasting change.
