Therapy is the sacred space where we realize our innermost desires, contend with our greatest fears, and undo the aloneness of our suffering. We begin by bringing clarity to where you feel stuck, helping us understand the true nature of your dis-ease or inner conflict. I will make note of the parts of you that often go unnoticed. My intention for you is transformation that addresses the root cause, not a superficial shift through forced, temporary behavioral changes or endless coping skills.

I love helping people who are navigating life transitions – from starting a new job, healing after a breakup, launching into school, or exploring a new part of your identity. I especially love working with anxious achievers, recovering perfectionists, and millennial women + couples. I also am a Certified Financial Therapist™. Whether you’ve never been to therapy or have invested in your mental health for years, Meaningful Minds opens the door to a deeper understanding of yourself and your mind.
Most of my clients are wanting to experience greater intimacy, safety, trust, and emotional connection. However, problems arise when major events, such as infidelity or trauma, undermine trust or our ability to connect. Most commonly, clients get caught by negative reciprocal patterns that keep them feeling stuck. I help clients to understand these patterns, have meaningful conversations in session, and regain the connection necessary to overcome past hurts.
You and your needs are the focus! Whether you are dealing with issues of disappointment, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, life/career transitions, or relationship difficulties, I want to walk alongside you to give you support and guidance back to your internal well-being. I tailor the treatment process to meet individual needs, using various methods to treat life challenges. I help clients rediscover themselves while developing coping skills and strategies for continued growth.

Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

I enjoy serving both female and male adolescents and adults. My clients oftentimes find themselves struggling with anxiety, depression and responses to prior trauma as well as relationship issues. I find myself collaborating well with those who are trying to make sense of what it means to be mentally well while using a faith-based approach when my patients request one.

It’s the worst, but the good news is it doesn’t have to stay that way.

Every person is a masterpiece, created with a purpose to do great things. Sometimes we feel lost, get overwhelmed with anxious thoughts, become sad, get angry, and feel worthless. Perhaps your tween or teen is struggling with focus, impulsive behaviors, or other behavioral issues. Does lack of motivation or struggles with decision making, get in the way of you setting or accomplishing goals? I provide therapy to teens, adults, and couples equipping them with tools to overcome life's challenges.
I do my best work with folks at the intersection of queer and neurodivergent. I utilize lived experience as a late-diagnosed AuDHDer, and have had success working with self-diagnosed, formally diagnosed and/or late diagnosed Autistic people. I enjoy helping clients unpack and grow through their family of origin issues, those who have experienced oppression and trauma, and people who are deconstructing their faith or healing from abuse. I am gender affirming.
