I see my role in your journey as someone to help empower you to overcome obstacles that prevent you from living the life you desire and deserve. Using an eclectic and collaborative approach, together we will tailor a treatment plan to help achieve your goals. Together we will draw out your strengths and equip you with the necessary tools to navigate life and relationships. A cohesive family unit is important to feel safe, loved, and happy. When necessary, I will work members of the family to implement change. Feelings can be scary, but unraveling what lies beneath them is the key to understanding yourself and your relationships. I aim to understand my client’ s emotions and provide a safe place for them to be seen and heard. I am EMDR trained and am also Level 2 trained in Gottman Couples Counseling. I use tools from a variety of modalities to tailor treatment for each client to suit their needs, level of comfort and personalities.

Change is the only constant in life and sometimes leaves us with a feeling of not being in control. There is a lot of stigma attached to seeking help for mental health, but I believe it takes great courage in seeking out a mental health professional and can be a daunting experience. Having lived in India and the United States, I understand the important role culture plays in our relationships and lives. I strive to create a non-judgmental safe place for my clients. I believe it is every client's right and pivotal for a therapeutic relationship. I applaud you for taking the first step.
