I work with women who struggle with blended high/low self esteem. To the outside world, we are successful and have our shit together. Except we are masters at hiding pain. Inside, we have a black hole filled with guilt, shame, and feeling unworthy. We feel stress managing family, life, career, relationships, and don't feel good enough. We explore the beliefs and patterns that impact our daily life. The goal is to free ourselves from our past.
I know that there are real difficulties that led you here today, together we can find real relief. I will listen to your story & together we will work to resolve your unique challenges, step by step, at your pace. World events have been disruptive, unsettling, & traumatic, & you may be facing new/intensified problems. I excel in aiding adults & teens who are exhausted, down, overwhelmed, irritable, anxious, survivors of trauma/abuse, and/or have problems relating to others. Walk with me today.
Life can be demanding, frustrating, and tiring. Life can also be unique, experiential, and beautiful. Whether you are healing from abuse or a traumatic experience, struggling with feeling anxious or depressed, or moving through a life transition, it is important to allow ourselves the space to acknowledge both realities of life can be true. Together, we will create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore all aspects of yourself with compassion, curiosity, and authenticity.
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

Are you wanting to feel happier or more fulfilled? I help many adults cope with depression/anxiety due to trauma or general life stressors. I enjoy supporting clients cope within a high-stress profession as well as caregivers struggling with regaining a sense of self outside of the caregiver role. I have extensive experience in working with adults with cognitive difficulties due to brain related injuries/diseases as well as military veterans struggling with the transition to civilian life.
I provide counseling for depression and anxiety; anger and stress management; grief and mourning; interpersonal, family, marriage and relationship difficulties and work-related stressors. I treat children, teens, and adults. I provide individual and couples counseling. Feel free to contact me so we can schedule an appointment.
I work best with clients who have a desire to learn about and explore their relationship with themselves, others, and the world around them to move towards a more integrated and holistic way of being. This may encompass reprocessing past traumas, responding to symptoms of depression and anxiety from a place of compassion, or developing new ways of expressing and sharing one's identity and self. I enjoy helping my clients to become more curious, resilient, insightful, and courageous.
