About My Clients
I have a very eclectic background in the field which has made it enjoyable to help many different people. I work with individuals and couples. The services I provide are: anxiety/depression, gender identity and sexuality, and substance use/addiction. I am also sex positive and have worked with individuals in poly/open relationships. I am patient, empathetic and easy to talk to. I like to create a supportive and nurturing environment to help clients feel comfortable while working with me.
My Background and Approach
The tools that I'll provide you are tools that I have been perfecting over my career helping people just like you. My goal is for you to leave therapy with techniques and tools that are going to be helpful for you. As a licensed clinical social worker, I like to see you as a whole person and not just a diagnosis. We will work collaboratively to address the issues that you are experiencing and work through what is going to be helpful to you. I like to use techniques like CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused.
