About My Clients
Adam is a member of the World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH) and routinely follows the WPATH Standards of Care 7th Ed. in his clinical practice. He has provided gender affirmative trainings to mental health professionals in San Antonio, Texas. His goal is to create a positive therapeutic experience for gender diverse individuals and the people in their lives.
My Background and Approach
He is a gender diverse, multi-ethnic queer person who is comfortable with all pronouns. Most people read him as masculine, based on his gender expression. His training and clinical application have afforded him the opportunity to provide expert witness testimony regarding gender diversity. He is now working to provide gender affirmative training and consultation to mental health professionals to ensure transgender and gender diverse people are provided with quality, affirming care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Adam is able to assist with the navigation of your gender journey by providing a safe space to explore your gender expression and gender identity. He is also able to provide both, local and national resources to you and your loved ones for support throughout the process. He is able to complete a psychosocial assessment, which includes an extensive gender history, to assist with the process of achieving a name and gender marker change on identifying documentation or to provide a referral letter or letter of support for medically related procedures, i.e. gender affirming hormone therapy or gender affirmation surgery.
