My Background and Approach
My training in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused therapy means I have the expertise you need and deserve when you are healing from anxiety or painful memories. But, at the end of the day, you want to you’re working with someone who “gets” what it means to be a young woman struggling with anxiety, or troubling memories, right? I get it, because I have lived it myself. I’ve had the anxiety that made me question every decision, and the painful memories that keep coming up at inconvenient times. I know sometimes you just want to quit. So when we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist. You’ll get someone who truly understands what you’re going through.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Clients come to see me looking for a therapist who helps them feel seen and understood, because therapy should be a place where you feel supported and safe. Sessions with me are about more than just talking. We will incorporate mind and body, so you can experience wholeness again. Together, we get to where you're feeling stuck and work to fix it. An an anxiety and trauma therapist, I believe people have the strength for lasting change. You don't have to continue to worry and you don't have to do it alone. We will always go at your pace, never pushing you to a place you don't feel ready to be.
