About My Clients
I provide children, teens and young adults with a supportive, nonjudgmental, collaborative relationship to work through these struggles together, and to find a path toward healing, growth and empowerment. There is hope in every situation, no matter how painful the present moment may be. I actively engage in ongoing training to support LGBTQ+ teens or young adults as well as anti-racism training and work with clients who have experienced oppression, discrimination and bias.
My Background and Approach
I have provided therapy to young adults, teens and children since 2008 during my internships at the UC Davis Children's Hospital as well as the San Juan Unified School District. I have provided therapy in private practice since becoming licensed (MFC 51432) in 2011. I have served as the President for the Sacramento Branch of the Association for Play Therapy (APT) and am actively a member of the CA Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. I actively engage in ongoing training to support LGBTQ+ teens or young adults as well as anti-racism training and work with clients who have experienced oppression, discrimination and bias.
