As humans, we need to feel seen, heard and connected. As a therapist, I have the privilege to witness change despite life's many challenges.

About My Clients

It's stressful, exhausting, and downright unfair to think your teenager is no longer that sweet little kid you once knew. Maybe it gradually started in the tween years or perhaps it was a shocking change without warning. Regardless, you feel blind-sighted and confused because it's like a completely new person has taken over. There's this distance between you and your teenager that seems to grow each and every day no matter what you do.

My Background and Approach

It is frustrating and deeply frightening to question your child's priorities, it's as if you are in a never-ending competition with their friends, phone, TV, or video game console. You want to feel like you understand your kid again: what are their friends' names, what are their dreams, what motivates them, and so much more! You wish for that connection you once had and for conversations to last more than 30 seconds before they go off to do their own thing. You want to prepare your teenager for the real world without losing them along the way. I can help you. Given my youth and being a graduate student, I provide valuable insight into the world of teens, technology, social media, and the demands of being a student that most therapists cannot easily access. Clients who work with me appreciate my honesty and down-to-earth approach. Check out the website to learn more and schedule your first appointment today!
