About My Clients

I focus my practice on working with and honoring relationships and experiences that might lie outside of what society deems "traditional". My clients typically seek me out based on my experiencing and passion for working with Queer intimate relationships, families, and individuals. I enjoy working with members of the polyamorous/ethical non-monogamous community.

My Background and Approach

What are you looking for in a therapist? Is it a warm and direct approach? A sense of humor? Someone to walk alongside you as you build more authentic and fulfilling relationships to yourself and others? Then you have come to the right place! As a couple and family therapist, I strive to provide a safe and encouraging space for intimate relationships, families, and individuals to process, heal, challenge patterns, explore different ways of thinking… and even enjoy some fun and laughs along the way! In therapy with me, we will hone in on the relationships in your life and the impact they have on your overall wellbeing. I believe that strengthening the relationship we have with the people around us, and most importantly with ourselves, can be one of the greatest agents of change and growth. We will work together in therapy to process and explore current and past factors that might be holding you back, and we will move confidently in the direction of whatever goals motivate you most!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a Queer therapist of color, I am LGBTQIA+/poly affirming, kink-aware, and practice therapy from a feminist, anti-racist, and Health at Every Size perspective. I am proud to work for a practice like Hold the Vision Therapy, who affirms that Black Lives Matter, Trans Lives Matter, Black Trans Lives Matter, sex work is work, people are not illegal, abortion is healthcare, ableism exists, and there is health at every size. I aim to always bring conversations about power and privilege to the table, not only by recognizing my own biases and cultural locations, but by encouraging us to explore the ways in which your identities may be impacting the concerns you're wanting to address in therapy. I believe that everyone is inherently equipped with all they need to be the most realized and confident versions of themselves, and it's my goal to walk alongside you as you discover and uncover those parts of yourself on this journey.
