I seem to be an especially good fit for people who identify as sensitive/emotional, self-critical, creative, rebellious, different, or insightful. My areas of experience and focus are: depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief/loss, non-traditional relationships, sexuality, identity and self-esteem.
I help women who are successful in their careers but not in their relationships. Many of the women I work with have tried therapy before but found that it didn't offer the level of self knowledge and change they were seeking. Using a warm yet direct approach, I work collaboratively to understand and support my clients in their exploration and help them reach their goals. My approach is especially effective with ages 20's - 50's who have already done some traditional therapy in their life and are curious and committed to exploring a different way of being in the world. Sexuality & pleasure are stigmatized, this plays into how we feel about ourselves, our bodies. I specialize in sex, intimacy and relationship issues specifically undoing harmful stories which no longer work for us, which hold us back, harm us. I work to re-educate, and then to empower.
