I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, childhood trauma, adoption-related challenges, agoraphobia, social anxiety, and recovery. I also support those who identify as “outsiders” or creatives, who seek to be heard, respected, and guided in processing trauma, changing patterns, and making meaningful decisions. My goal is to help clients live a more thriving, fulfilling life.
I provide psychotherapy to adults with anxiety, interpersonal issues, and stress related to work, academics, and life transitions. I am also a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Specialist and have 20 years of experience working with clients during pregnancy/postpartum and providing therapeutic support around managing parenting-related mental health concerns and stressors from infancy to empty nest.
My clients are motivated to learn about themselves and discover the things that interfere with their living their best life possible. Clients come to me with addiction issues and may be struggling with ambivalence towards changing, or are motivated to give up self-destructive patterns of behavior. Clients might be anywhere along the path towards coming out and stepping fully into their sexual identity.
I work with clients who have a range of marginalized experiences & identities--LGBTQIA, BIPOC, immigrants & children of immigrants, sex workers, polyamorous & kink communities, neurodiverse & disabled folks. My clients usually come in wanting to work on anxiety, depression, dissociation, life transitions, gender transitions, suicidal ideation, abuse & trauma, domestic & partner violence and more.

I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma care, and relationship dynamics for individuals, couples, and small groups, including polycules, families, and roommates. I have a special interest in serving survivors and victims of sexual traumas and abuse. In a culture where victim blaming runs rampant, when we talk and process our experiences the light is able to shine in and we as a society move closer to a world where survivors do not need to live in shame. I am also a trained Doula and love to work with the perinatal and postpartum community. I am especially interested in exploring traumatic birth stories and supporting this healing journey.
I have extensive experience working with individuals and couples in various areas, including interpersonal relationships, boundary management, heartbreak and divorce, anxiety, body dysmorphia, abuse and trauma (sexual, emotional, and physical), life transitions, stress management, depression, and more. I’m here to support you in navigating these challenges and building a path toward healing and growth.
I work with individuals, couples, and adult families from various communities, relational styles, sexual orientations, socioeconomic, racial, and ethnic identities. My clients tend to be committed to growth; often demonstrating great courage in tolerating vulnerability, complex emotions, and personal honesty during therapy. As there is no one size fits all, psychotherapy is tailored to the specific needs and desired outcomes of the people I work with.

Are you looking to make positive life changes, heal past traumas, and improve relationships? Are you going through major life changes such as becoming a parent, changing careers, or dealing with chronic health issues? Therapy can be a safe place to explore your concerns and learn new skills for living a balanced life! We utilize traditional therapy modalities, but believe that body, mind, and spirit, as well as community and relational dynamics are inter-connected and deserve equal focus.
I help individuals, couples, relationship partners, and adult family members build more confidence and trust in themselves and with others. Clients often begin treatment longing for more connection with themselves, and more effectiveness in their relationships. They may have experienced a chaotic upbringing or relationship traumas in the past, and are frustrated with their history continuing to impact their present. We work toward building increased freedom, meaning, and joy in their lives.
Some of my clients are working toward feeling more connected in their relationships. Some are working to heal from traumas of the past. Most are looking for an expert therapist, who having tried multiple therapists, need a more comprehensive, philosophically grounded, deeper, and richer experience of self-exploration and healing. My goal is for my clients to experience a connection they may have never felt that helps them build insight, understanding, and the courage and power to heal and grow.
You've experienced sexual assault (and you might find it hard to label it that way). You struggle with intimacy and are worried there is something wrong with you. You often feel anxious and even when things are going well in relationships it feels like you are waiting for something to go wrong. Sometimes during sex you cry, dissociate, or try to just "get through it". You're worried you might never get over the bad things that have happened to you and that on some level you're broken.
You need therapy that will teach you concrete skills to help improve your life right now, not aimless therapy that only makes you feel better for the day. My typical clients are professionals who have come to realize that negative thoughts are keeping them from achieving their full potential at work and/or in their personal lives. Many of my current clients had tried therapy prior to seeing me and did not find it helpful as they did not get concrete skills to deal with distress.

I work with adults of all identities, and I specialize in helping clients with complex relationship issues, self-worth, life transitions, grief and trauma. I can help you address ongoing emotional distress, and symptoms of anxiety, depression and PTSD. Together we can identify the underlying sources of your distress and develop strategies for you to feel grounded, confident and resilient.
I love supporting clients in developing self-compassion, identifying and building on strengths, and learning new approaches to achieve a sense of well-being and peace. I have experience working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, social and communication challenges, gender and sexual identity, polyamory, and neurodivergence.
As a family therapist, I am passionate about working with families and the problems that keep them from their ideal relationships. My work is generally with youth, their siblings, and caregivers. When any person in a family is struggling, it impacts everyone. If trauma has impacted a family, the strength of connection is often stretched thin. It is my hope to connect, or re-connect, youth and families to their resilience, values, and love.
