Music has been a passion of mine since I was a child. In my experience, music has always moved me deeply, and I have always felt a profound connection to the words of songs I listen to. My interest in the music scene and my growing awareness of the issues of mental health and substance abuse are intertwined. This realization, combined with the loss of many talented musicians, has inspired me to dive headfirst into mental health and substance abuse treatment for those involved in the music world.
Clients in my practice have a history of developmental trauma. I utilize DBT to help clients gain skills to build a life worth living. Once they have skills, clients move on to process trauma through psychotherapy. I tailor my practice to meet the specific needs of clients and teach strategies to meet goals. I enjoy supporting clients in pinpointing the causes of issues and work together to remove negative behaviors and thought patterns.
My clients are anyone who presents me with an opportunity to help them. I believe in allowing my clients to drive the course of their path to treatment as they travel on their journey to healing. I serve as a personal coach to navigate to my clients while I embrace their ideas and support them through the process. I include a variety of activities and techniques to address some of the issues that are overwhelming and stressful in life.

They don't necessarily understand what EMDR is but are willing to try this alternative form of therapy that they have heard is more effective than talk therapy.
Anxiety is not who you are, it’s what you’re feeling - and we can change that. I specialize in helping people struggling with anxiety shed old patterns of overthinking, self-criticism, and self-doubt. Clients tell me that after our work they leave feeling confident, grounded, and calm. I also provide crucial space for therapists/trainees looking for a place to take off their "therapist hat" and settle in for that long journey into themselves.
