At times, emotions can feel all-consuming and get in the way of what we want or care about most in our lives. I use evidence-based practices to support children, teens, and young adults in coping with difficult experiences—such as anxiety, OCD, depression and behavioral challenges. I also provide parents with strategies to help their children experiencing challenges. My goal is to work with clients on building their strengths in facing difficult emotions and living a rich and meaningful life.
I work with women of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and marginalized communities facing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and identity issues. Together, we create a safe space to build self-compassion, resilience, and self-discovery, helping them heal, grow, and embrace their authentic selves while breaking free from limiting beliefs and societal pressures.
My ideal clients are those with issues of anxiety, depression, cultural adjustment, adjusting to college, strained family relationships (especially second-generation immigrants), health-related concerns or chronic illness, and those seeking a Mandarin-speaking counselor. I have worked with a wide variety of patients from different cultures and backgrounds, and I aim to empower my clients and work together through their challenges effectively.
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, childhood trauma, adoption-related challenges, agoraphobia, social anxiety, and recovery. I also support those who identify as “outsiders” or creatives, who seek to be heard, respected, and guided in processing trauma, changing patterns, and making meaningful decisions. My goal is to help clients live a more thriving, fulfilling life.
I enjoy working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. I also support mothers experiencing prenatal and postpartum depression or those preparing for motherhood. My clients are often navigating life transitions, seeking recovery, and looking to start a new chapter of healing. Together, we work toward increasing well-being and developing healthy coping skills to manage stress and improve overall mental health.

Most folks begin therapy with me because they feel stuck in unhelpful patterns of communicating, they struggle to feel understood or supported in their relationship, and they want to navigate conflict and challenging emotions with greater ease. I support queer, gender expansive, neurodiverse, and polyamorous and non-monogamous couples, polycules and other relationship structures. I also specialize in working with stepparents and parents who are navigating a non-traditional family structure.
I work with children who have a range of difficulties across all spectrums of social, emotional, and behavioral needs and diagnoses. In addition, I work with parents of special needs children, helping parents in how to parent their unique child, as well as individual therapeutic issues that may have arisen since becoming a parent. I also work with divorcing couples on how to co-parent their child. Finally, I work with adults who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or life transitions.

Currently offering in-person appointments on Tuesdays and Fridays, and teletherapy appointments on Thursdays. If you feel out of touch with your own life, if people say that you worry “too much,” if a particular event has taken away your sense of well-being, psychotherapy can be an excellent resource and activator for change. But it takes courage to recognize when your coping strategies are no longer working and to reach out for support.
We understand the frustration of having to repear your story over and over — nobody has time for that. As experienced clinicians, we seek out the best of the best to personally curate each and every clinician in our nationwide, private network. It’s time to stop sitting on waitlists and settling for less than what you deserve. When you're our client, you're taken care of. Period.
You need therapy that will teach you concrete skills to help improve your life right now, not aimless therapy that only makes you feel better for the day. My typical clients are professionals who have come to realize that negative thoughts are keeping them from achieving their full potential at work and/or in their personal lives. Many of my current clients had tried therapy prior to seeing me and did not find it helpful as they did not get concrete skills to deal with distress.
I help anxious and overwhelmed individuals navigate life stress, flourish in life transitions, and heal from painful experiences. You may be a young adult navigating a new life phase, you may be experiencing grief and loss, or you may be working through trauma. You may simply be looking to shift habits that are negatively affecting your life. All of these needs can be challenging to face alone, which is why working together in the context of a therapeutic alliance can be so helpful.
