The majority of my clients are adults who are going through life transitions and want support adjusting to a variety of life changes. Some of my clients have past trauma they want to unpack in a safe space. Although my clients are from different racial backgrounds, sexual identities, and life experiences, I have found they all want to feel supported and validated in sessions. Their end goal is usually to improve their quality of life so they can enjoy their lives again.

As a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, I have knowledge and experience working with people with various mental and physical disabilities. Many of my clients have felt frustrated with experiencing misconceptions, perceived limitations, and microaggressions in relationship to their disability.
The populations I serve are individuals - teens, young adults and adults under 40 facing grief/bereavement/loss, body image, self-esteem, self-reflection, women's obstacles, anxiety, adjustment and difficult life changes/decisions. My ideal clients ultimately need someone in their life who listens to them, empowers them and believes they can do great things.
I work with teens, young adults and adults who are trying to cope with anxiety, depression, life transitions and self-esteem building, among other concerns. My clients come to sessions with an idea of what goals they want to achieve and then we build on those goals and develop a plan to reach them. My ideal client is open to assistance and is not led by the clinician. A client led by the questions and exploration of oneself and their own values will come to well processed conclusions.
I work with individuals facing challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. Together, we’ll create a plan to strengthen your coping and communication skills, build confidence, and help you reach your goals. My clients feel supported and empowered on their journey to a fuller, more fulfilling life.
I believe that everyone is unique, with their own set of experiences, perspectives, and challenges. This individuality is what makes the therapeutic journey so personal and meaningful. When clients approach counseling with motivation, openness to self-reflection, and a commitment to growth, it creates a powerful foundation for positive change. My role is to support and guide you through this journey, helping you harness these qualities to achieve your goals and enhance your overall well-being.

Have you been struggling to understand your emotions, cope with changes or reduce depression, anxiety or guilt? Through encouragement and empowerment, we will work to cope with the challenges you face. With a HAES and anti-diet lens, I am passionate about working with both men and women to find and maintain freedom from their eating and co-occurring disorders by gently confronting barriers, building on strengths and challenging unhelpful relational and thought patterns.
I work with adolescents, adults, and couples. Individuals that I work generally report concerns around relationships, depression, anxiety, complex trauma, and low self-esteem. Through several years of psychodynamic training and extensive time in the consultation room, I have learned how to understand the relationships of my patients -- individuals and couples alike -- by being *in* relationship with my patients, in a safe, contained, and exploratory setting.
I have a special interest in serving survivors and victims of sexual traumas and abuse. In a culture where victim blaming runs rampant, when we talk and process our experiences the light is able to shine in and we as a society move closer to a world where survivors do not need to live in shame. I am also a trained Doula and love to work with the perinatal and postpartum community. I am especially interested in exploring traumatic birth stories and supporting this healing journey.
As a generalist, I work with nearly any concern and also have specializations in trauma recovery, affirming/supportive therapy with LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples/relationship counseling, and college student mental health. Below are just some common concerns beyond my specialty areas that I work with: Identity Depression Adjustment Relationship Concerns Healthy Boundaries Self-esteem and Confidence Academic Concerns Anxiety Sleep Grief/Loss

The people who work with me are struggling with managing difficult emotions related to asserting their authentic self. This might include living with a neurological difference such as bipolar disorder or autism, and/or developing an identity which seems different from the one they've embraced in previous times of life. I also work with people who may be struggling with loss of social support, depression or anxiety that seems unmanageable, or a general feeling of "stuckness."
