Thank you for taking the first step in seeking help for yourself! I know seeking therapy can seem daunting, but I am here to partner with you on this journey. You may be experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship obstacles, or family conflict. Maybe there are transitional changes in life that are causing stress or distress. Fret not! Using an eclectic array of evidence-based approaches, we will work together to defeat the obstacles hindering you from living the life you deserve.
My Background and Approach
As a clinician, I use an eclectic array of evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused, and Narrative Therapy. I have had the privilege of working with couples, families, adolescents, and individuals. In session, we will work together to determine what has or has not worked in the past. I will provide you with tools that will help you overcome the current problem, as well as future concerns. Whether your goal is to create peace in your family or decrease anxiety/depression, I am here to help.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
You are the expert on your life. We all have times when we need to reach out for help and that is ok! Often, our strength and resiliency can be forgotten when in the midst of life's challenges. I am here to be your cheerleader during these times! Sometimes, we can adopt unhealthy ways of thinking (and do not always realize it) that are hindering us. I will help you challenge those negative thoughts and overcome other barriers you are facing. Also, I am an avid Texans' fan and hope that this is the year they overcome their challenges!
